To foster academic superiority and strengthen the soaring competency of the campus, four (4) programs of Pangasinan State UniversityโSta. Maria Campus underwent an Online Accreditation Survey Visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) commenced at Sen. Leticia Ramos Shahani Convention Hall, on November 14-15, 2023.
During the visit, the program that underwent the 4th Survey Phase 2 was the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA). Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management (BSABM), and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) are the programs that underwent the 3rd Survey Phase 2.
Hosted by Mr. Charles Dustien E. Soriano, the event commenced with a welcome remark delivered by the University President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas. Following Dr. Galas, the event was taken over by Dr. Jenylyn V. Oboza, the Vice President for Quality Assurance.
Moreover, Dr. Honorio L. Cascolan, the Campus Executive Director of PSU โ Sta. Maria Campus took the honor of introducing the local counterparts of the four programs under survey.
The presentation of the four programs was held on the second day of the online survey visit due to technical difficulties and unanticipated occurrences.
Mr. Allen Paulo Torrado Repollo, a PSU Sta Maria (BSA-Performance of Graduates) alumnus, was also interviewed by accreditors on the same day.
With full diligence and tireless effort, PSU-SM consistently demonstrated the excellence and quality service of the academic programs while adhering to the university’s pledge of excellence.
