Gearing towards Excellence: PSU-SM’s Journey in the Accreditation Arena

The quest for excellence never ends!

This is PSU-Sta. Maria’s mantra as it subjected its different programs to the quality assurance mechanisms of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines. This is one way of ensuring that quality education is put on a premium while satisfying the needs of the community and other stakeholders.
Programs were subjected to detailed scrutiny of documents and shreds of evidence on the different areas accredited. Ocular inspections and interviews are also done to ensure the veracity of the claims.

With PSU SM’s diligence and commitment to excellence, one of its programs has already attained the highest level of accreditation – the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. The program has already secured its Level IV, Phase I standing in 2021.
Meanwhile, four programs are currently in Level II Accreditation Status – Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English, Math, and TLE, Bachelor of Elementary Education, BS Agribusiness Management, and BS Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering.
These four programs are already embarked on the quest of attaining the Level III standing in August 2022. This is indeed a manifestation that PSU-SM always heeds the call of continued pursuit of excellence.
