The undergraduate programs of Pangasinan State University were subjected to local assessment by the PSU local assessors at the DVITC Library, PSU Main. The local assessment started yesterday, May 4, 2021 and will end on May 14 to ensure the completeness and correctness of the documents due for the application of Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) application.
Spearheaded by the Quality Assurance Division VP-Dr. Elbert M. Galas with the Institutional Assessment and Accreditation Director-Dr. Weenalei T. Fajardo, Local and International Accreditation Unit Head-Prof. Dr. Rosario Miguel and Risk Management Unit Head-Dr. Grace Suratos. The team of local assessors composed of Dr. Razeale Resultay, Dr. Madlyn Tingco, Dr. Cielo Fernandez, Dr. Jennifer Parrone, Dr. Salvacion Vinluan, Dr. Zosima Sison, Ms. Mary Ann Mangapot, Dr. Ramil Dacal, Prof. Marinuelle Aquino, Dr. Elmer Vingua, Prof. Maila Rosario Puzon, Dr. Rosario Valencerina, Ms. Winona Perado, Dr. Amelita De Vera, Ms. Luisa Andrea Junio and Dr. Frederick Patacsil.
In her message, CHED-initiated assessment Unit Head-Dr. Mary Ann Macaranas emphasized the need to secure COPC within two years from the date of release of CMO 14, S. 2019 to ensure that programs being offered by the university meet the minimum requirement set by their respective Policies, Standards and Guidelines or PSGs of CHED. Further, the requirements contained in the CMOs of the various academic programs were along with curriculum, faculty, resources, and laboratory.
