TAKING THE NATIONAL SCENE. Allyn Kaye C. Caquista, a second year Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Drafting, won third place in the FlexOffice Creative Photography Contest 2020.
Caquista with the photo entry entitled ‘Los Marcadores’, received cash amounting to 2,000 pesos and set of gifts as prizes from the FlexOffice Company, a stationery brand.
“The picture portrays how to be creative, and how to feel like a model even in a simplest way- by having a simple outfit, some accessories, simple make up and face painting, and at the same time, giving a twist and unique look to the viewers,” as described by the Drafting major student in her photo entry.
Said photography contest which was joined by over hundreds of participants, aimed to reciprocate the support & trust of the company’s customers, giving them an avenue to creatively explode their new ideas by using their product.
“Noong nalaman ko pong pasok ako sa screening at online voting, masaya na po ako kasi po first time ko rin po talaga sumali,” Caquista said while sharing her ‘fulfilling experience’ thru an online interview.
She added that from the start of the quarantine period, she exerted effort to upgrade her skills so when she saw the posting of FlexOffice, she did not hesitate to join. /mmpd
