It was indeed a day filled with learnings and camaraderie as the student leaders of Pangasinan State University-Sta. Maria (Class Mayors, Governors, President of different Organizations, Editor-in-Chief of the School Publication, and SSC Officers) joined together in the 1st Student Leaders’ Forum with the theme “Uplifting the New Normal Leaders Through Collaborative Aspirations and Strong Camaraderie for Campus Building,” which was held on March 11, 2022 through MS Teams.
Participants shared their experiences , ideas, and collaborative aspirations in attaining common goals for the Campus, the community, and their respective organizations as a whole.
The highlight of the said activity was a meaningful talk on Student Leadership with Mr. Mark Jayson M. Marinas, a Filed Study and Teaching Internship Coordinator at Univerisity of Eastern Panagsinan, and a certified and dedicated leader of the community.
It was also attended by Prof. Zenaida T. Cruz, the Student Services and Alumni Affairs Coordinator of the Campus, and gave her inspirational message during the opening of the program.
Indeed, it was a success through the guidance of the SSC Adviser, Mr. Rey P. Marquez.
“Leaders are made to influence others by providing them positive traits and direction towards common goals,” as what Mr. Marinas said during his talk on leadership.
