Forging broader connections, Pangasinan State University inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Colegio de Dagupan today, May 17 via Zoom.
Grounded on the advancement of higher education in the archipelago, the MOU signed by the two HEIs shall set out collaborative opportunities in areas of academics, research, and extension.
University President Dr. Dexter R. Buted signed the MOU on behalf of PSU, and Dr. Voltaire P. Arzadon represented CdD. Academic and administrative councils of both institutions were also present at the event.
“Rest assured that PSU will be your partner since we both aim for quality education. With CdD, we will move forward and outpace the paradigm shift of education in the new normal,” said DRB.
The signed agreement breaks new ground for the top-tier higher learning institutions in the Region—notable for producing topnotchers in various fields—championing quality and excellence in education through the exchange of best practices.
The MOU’s focal provisions promote collaboration in the conduct of academics, research, and extension programs; joint sponsorship in the conduct of seminars and trainings; sharing of technical expertise along publication and patent search; exchange of publications; and other related activities contributing to the development of both institutions.
“This partnership will pave way for more activities for us to better our areas in academics, research, and service offerings to students,” Dr. Arzadon expressed.
The astute alliance hallmarks the crafting of a proposed concerted roadmap for ideas sharing to refine the functions of a higher learning institution in instruction, research, extension, and production. /ksg
