The Pangasinan State University – Sta. Maria Supreme Supreme Student Council (PSU-SMSSC)logo was designed in 2021 by Mr. Cipriano Tabayoyong, who was a Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education 1st year student, and a 1st year representative of the Council. Its primary aim is to have a functional and permanent trademark for the Campus Student Council and to emphasize the idealism of the organization.
Description and Symbols of the Logo
The Color. Blue symbolizes harmony and yellow for will power that are necessary in leadership.
The Inner Details
The lion’s head symbolizes bravery, torch for a quality education, rice grains for good harvest, and six (6) mushrooms which represent the six(6) programs offered at Pangasinan State University, Santa Maria Campus: 1) Bachelor of Science and Agriculture (BSA), 2) Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE), (3) Bachelor of Science in Agri-Business Management (BSABM), (4) Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) majors in Mathematics and English, (5) Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) major in Enhanced General Education, (6) Bachelor in Technology Livelihood Education (BTLEd) major in Home Economics.
