The Pangasinan State University-Sta. Maria held its annual Christmas Lighting Ceremony on December 7, 2021 through the initiative of Dr. Elmer C. Vingua, the Campus Executive Director of the Campus. It was started with a Zumba Dance led by some SSC Officers with a short program participated by the Faculty and Staff of PSU-SM.

The highlight of the said Ceremony was the traditional countdown until all the lanterns will beautifully light the surroundings. Highlighted this year’s theme is the celebration of peace, hope, joy, and love as these were lighted up  through various Christmas lanterns placed at the front gate of the Campus.

It was also streamed through Facebook live in the Supreme Student Council’s Facebook page to ensure the participation of the students virtually, and for them to witness this very momentous activity of the Campus.

The participants were requested to wear red shirts to show and highlight the said theme.
