The Pangasinan State University – Sta. Maria Campus actively participated in the “Saksakey Tayo- PSU Year-End General Assembly and Employee Development Program,” an event celebrating a year of achievements and camaraderie.
The day commenced with spirited “Laro Laro” at the PSU-Lingayen grounds. Faculty and staff from the Sta. Maria Campus enthusiastically competed in Sack Race, Maria Went to Town, Kadang Kadang Race, Tug of War, and Dodgeball. The delegation was fully supported by Campus Executive Director Dr. Oliver C. Caasi and Faculty Regent Hon. Ace John Mark P. Liwanag.
Led by Dr. Kristine May Casibang, and prepared in collaboration with PSU-Sta. Maria Campus faculty and staff, the ASEAN booth featuring Cambodia was also visited by President Galas.
The afternoon session began with a solemn Thanksgiving Mass. The part 2 of the program commenced with welcome remarks from Dr. Ian D. Evangelista. University President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas, then delivered his State of the University Address, highlighting PSU’s successful projects and milestones accomplished for this year.
Adding a melodious touch to the event, the campus contingent showcased their talent in the “PSU Mangansyon: Inter-Campus Musical Contest,” proudly securing 3rd place. The celebrations continued with the “PSU Mangan Tila: Dinner Fellowship,” where employees enjoyed a shared meal and received special PSU Gift Packs.
The successful and unifying event culminated with a brilliant firework display, symbolizing the collective celebration of the year’s triumphs and a hopeful look toward the future.
