In line with the national thrust of combatting hunger amidst pandemic, Pangasinan State University-Sta. Maria Campus (PSU-SM), and in cooperation with LGU-Sta. Maria and DA RFO-1, launched its agricultural community pantry through the Programang Agrikultura: Kaagapay ng Masagana at Matatag na Pamilya on June 30, 2021.

 

Under this program, PSU-SM distributed fruit-bearing trees and agricultural products like compost and foliar fertilizers the BS Agriculture students produced. Recipients were interested citizens who opted to plant trees for shade and consumption.

 

This undertaking is a manifestation of PSU-SM’s drive to be a channel of transformation in the lives of its adjacent community.
